Your anniversary is just around the corner.  If you're like most men, one of the foremost questions on your mind right now is what o get for her this year.  Why not do something different and get her a gift that she'll appreciate every day for years to come?  This year get her something truly romantic, a beautiful antique makeup vanity.


A makeup vanity is a wonderful thing for a woman to have.  It's a beautiful piece of furniture that's extremely personal and functional as well.  It's a place that can become her own little private oasis, where she can get dressed and put on her makeup every day, knowing how thoughtful and loving you were to get it for her.

You can find the perfect vanity table if you look at a few different antique shops.  Make sure to call first because they might not have any in stock at the moment.  You can also look online for a wider selection.  There are a lot of auction sites, like eBay where you can find beautiful antiques at amazing prices.

Make sure to think about style.  If she has more modern tastes than an art deco styled vanity would be better than a Victorian styled one, or maybe you shouldn't be getting her an antique at all and should just buy a new one instead.  You should also get one that will go well with the rest of your bedroom furnishings.

Try to keep it out of the house till your anniversary arrives.  When it does came, set it up with a beautiful vase filled with a dozen roses, white or red, depending on which ones are her favorite.  If you really want to make it romantic, you can even get some hanging canopy beds curtains that hang from the ceiling for a truly romantic bedroom gift.
