When it comes time to select a new dishwasher for the kitchen, every homeowner wants to be sure they buy one of the best dishwashers available.  Since not everyone can afford the most expensive fully loaded dishwasher, a range of brands should be considered.  Bosch, Hotpoint and Whirlpool offer a good variety in price without compromising performance.

Bosch

For homeowners lucky enough to have a dishwasher budget that allows them to splurge, Bosch is a great choice.  The Bosch dishwasher model line is very well regarded; they are renowned for their reliability and superior energy efficiency.  If you have the funds, purchasing a Bosch dishwasher can be a great option.

Hotpoint

Hotpoint is a brand you may not be familiar with.  It is less well known than Bosch, but does have some quality models. The Hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher line has a good selection of different sized units, and for the price comes with an attractive set of features.  If you are willing to step away from your brand 'comfort zone', a Hotpoint dishwasher may be right for you.

Whirlpool

Finally, the manufacturer Whirlpool is another fine option.  Whirlpool is everywhere, and most families have had experience with at least one Whirlpool appliance at some point in time.  Whirlpool dishwashers are cheaper than a premium brand like Bosch; this means you may not get some of the higher end features on one of these appliances. However, if you are just looking to get the dishes clean, and can life without the 'bling', there is nothing wrong with purchasing a Whirlpool and saving some money.

With these fine brands to choose from, plus numerous others such as Smeg and GE, there is no shortage of choice.  Be sure to buy a reputable brand with a good warranty and you should be happy that you have purchased the best dishwasher for you.
