The power juicer pro is actually the only power juicer that has this stainless steel mesh filter and its purpose is to filter the juices more finely so that less pulp makes it through. The Jack Lalanne juicer elite is made in stainless steel and features the drip free spout but encompasses one feature that is not available in any of the other models - "soy technology".
