I've got to admit, I love playing with just about anything LEGO. Back before there was much in the way of specialized LEGO models and kits related to anything specific, I would spend hours building all sorts of vehicles, buildings, and other creations. As far as Lego fans go, I was pretty low maintenance. I remember finding boxes of Lego blocks for sale at a local yard sale and feeling like it was Christmas because my Dad bought them for me. I honestly never thought about getting into any specific kits or models. I just loved imagining things and then trying to build them.
Today there are a lot more options than there were when I was growing up. Some of the most popular and amazing LEGO products available today are models and kits related to Star Wars. Of course I can also still remember the original release of the Star Wars movies back in the 1970s, so I guess it is pretty normal that things would have changed a bit.

It is hard to go wrong with Lego products. Most kids really seem to love playing with them, it is just a matter of how serious they are about their building. They make a great gift idea especially since their are different sizes available for different ages.
